Are you a Senior Electrical Design Engineer looking to join a forward thinking consultancy known for technical excellence and long term client relationships?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established and expanding M and E consultancy delivering high quality, design led solutions across Education, Residential, Commercial, Leisure, and Healthcare sectors. With a strong reputation for client retention and repeat business, the company continues to grow its project portfolio and technical team.

In this role, you will take full ownership of electrical design across a variety of projects from concept through to completion. You will lead client meetings, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure all designs meet current regulations and industry standards. Alongside project delivery, you will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, supporting QA processes, and contributing to continuous technical improvement across the team.

This position offers a clear and structured progression route to Associate level, supported by leadership opportunities, professional development, and exposure to high value projects.

The Role:

• Lead electrical services design and coordination across multi sector building services projects
• Manage client relationships, attend and lead design meetings, and deliver technical presentations
• Oversee detailed design work, tender documentation, and quality assurance processes
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers
• Use industry software including Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit and related tools

The Person:

• Extensive experience in electrical design within building services consultancy
• Strong understanding of Building Regulations, CIBSE Guides, British Standards, and IEE Wiring Regulations
• Proficient in AutoCAD and ideally experienced with Revit, Bluebeam, Amtech, and Dialux Evo
• Confident leading client interactions and coordinating projects
• Full UK Driving Licence
