Job Title:Senior Electrical Design Engineer (HV/MV)Location:Glasgow (preferred) or LondonPay:£75,000 £90,000 (DOE)PMA Recruitment Services are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing team working across high-impact energy and infrastructure projects. This is a senior-level opportunity offering flexibility on role grade and salary depending on experience.The Role:You will play a key role in the design and delivery of complex electrical systems, supporting major projects across sectors such as grid infrastructure, gas power generation, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and data centres.This role combines technical leadership with stakeholder engagement, so strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.Key Responsibilities:Lead and contribute to HV/MV electrical design across a range of projectsInterface with UK TSO/DNO stakeholders and ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirementsSupport project delivery from concept through to executionCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partnersProvide technical guidance and mentorship where requiredRequirements:Proven experience in electrical design within relevant sectors (grid, power generation, BESS, data centres highly desirable)Strong understanding of UK TSO/DNO interfaces and regulatory frameworksExcellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamAdditional Information:Strong preference for candidates with unrestricted right to work in the UK due to project travel requirements (Ireland and mainland Europe)Candidates already based in the UK with significant experience may be considered for sponsorship transferThis is an exciting opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.JBRP1_UKTJ
