Job Role: Electrical Design Engineer Salary / Rate: £45-£50 /hour Outside IR35 Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid working) Our client is a reputable Design & Build Contractor looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the Detailed Design phase of multiple MEICA projects on major UK water frameworks.

About the Role:

Provide electrical design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements Produce electrical design calculations, single line diagrams, and electrical layouts for the water industry Direct and support CAD technicians and junior designers Prepare scopes of work for and check the output of subcontract M&E design teams Liaise with suppliers, prepare electrical specifications, and review technical submissions Conduct design investigations and produce reports and technical documentation Ensure design work complies with current BS7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and industry standards Implement and record any design changes throughout the project lifecycle Estimate hours and resources required for electrical design packages Attend and present at meetings and design reviews as required

About You:

Graduate, HND or equivalent industry experience in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 5 years...
