Electrical Design Engineer - Contract (3 year)

Location: Manchester Office Based (Remote working can be discussed)

Work Pattern: Hybrid Working (2/3 days in the office, usually Tuesday through Thursday)

Project: Various Water Frameworks

Role details: Senior EC&I Designer reporting to project lead engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing safe, practical and economic designs for clients to a high standard of professional competence and in compliance with Company procedures
• Producing drawing office deliverables including but not limited to SLDs, IO & Cable
• Schedules, P&IDs, Material Take Offs, BCDs, Schematics, Equipment and Cable Routing Layouts
• Checking of drawings in accordance with Company Procedures.
• Liaising with other disciplines as required.

Qualifications:

• ONC / OND / HNC / HND or equivalent qualification.

Technical Experience:

• Good knowledge of design working practices and installation requirements of the discipline across relevant sector
• 10+ years engineering experience in the relevant or similar sectors
• Proficient in CAD.
• Knowledge LV electrical design
• Knowledge of UK legislation and standards
