Senior Electrical Engineer Permanent Location – Leicester OR Birmingham Office – 1 Day WFH Salary – Negotiable depending on experience + Car Allowance A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of my clients who are an independently owned mechanical, electrical & environmental design consultancy with a proven reputation in the design based services expertise to a wide range of clients across all sectors such as commercial, education healthcare, heritage, hotel & leisure, residential & retail / hospitality in the construction industry. Due to continued expansion, my client is now looking for an senior electrical engineer from the building services environment to join the team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing multiple projects at once, ensuring all tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard. You'll take ownership of detailed electrical designs — either working independently or as the technical lead within project teams. The position involves carrying out load assessments, lighting and small power layouts, cable sizing, and protection studies, along with coordinating electrical infrastructure. Collaboration with mechanical engineers will be key to ensuring a fully integrated MEP design that meets the overall project brief as the senior electrical engineer.
