Senior Electrical Project Engineer

£70 per hour

Remote working with occasional site visits (Glasgow)

Immediate start available



Role Summary:

Lead the engineering delivery of renewable energy projects from concept to commissioning across HV/MV/LV systems. Ensure designs are compliant, buildable, and cost-effective while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting project execution.



Key Skills & Responsibilities Required:

- 10+ years in Electrical Project Engineering (renewables preferred)

- Experience working with UK DNO/TNO

- Proven track record delivering infrastructure or energy projects

- End-to-end engineering ownership (Concept design through to handover)

- Strong knowledge of DNO/TNO interfaces - HV/MV/LV systems, including grid connections

- Experience with Protection & Control, SCADA, and OEM integration

- Ensure compliance with UK/European standards (BS EN, ENA, G99/100, Grid Code, CDM)
