The Role You will take ownership of electrical and electronic engineering delivery across a range of electro-mechanical systems, working within a small, specialist multi-disciplinary team.
You will be expected to operate at a senior level throughout the full product lifecycle - from requirements capture through to acceptance and beyond.
Day to day you will be: Leading electrical and electronic design and development of electro-mechanical systems Delivering full lifecycle engineering from requirements decomposition through to acceptance and user sign-off Providing technical support and leadership within a multi-disciplinary engineering team Mentoring and supporting the development of junior engineers Supporting and facilitating design reviews and approvals to business and industry standards Contributing to manufacturing drawings, schematics, CAD models and technical reports Supporting products through manufacturing, assembly, installation and service life Contributing to bids and proposals, including customer and supplier interfacing What Were Looking For Strong analogue and digital design skills Full lifecycle experience from requirements decomposition through to acceptance xehkeey on multi-disciplinary programmes Experience in the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical systems Experience of requirements capture, analysis, V&V and configuration management Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers Excellent communication and collaboration skills The Package Up to £62,000 depending on experience Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Half-day Fridays 25 days annual leave plus buy and sell options Up to 16 days flexi leave accrual Private medical health insurance Group Pension Plan - up to 7% employer contribution All-staff bonus scheme Employee Assistance Programme Cycle to work scheme Life assurance Free onsite parking and onsite facilities
