Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a water infrastructure project in Leeds. This is a key role within the site team, supporting the delivery of works on a live water scheme within a regulated environment.\n\nRole & Responsibilities:\n\n * Leading engineering activities on site and supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager\n\n * Overseeing setting out and ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme\n\n * Managing and mentoring Site Engineers and junior staff\n\n * Managing QA documentation, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and as-built records\n\n * Coordinating surveys and providing technical support to resolve site issues\n\n * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards\n\n * Liaising with designers, subcontractors, and client representatives\n\n * Supporting planning, sequencing, and short-term programming of works\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Proven experience working as a Senior Engineer or experienced Site Engineer on civil engineering projects\n\n * Experience on water or wastewater schemes essential\n\n * Strong setting out and surveying background\n\n * Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications\n\n * Valid CSCS card\n\n * SMSTS or SSSTS \n\n * Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills\n\nApplication:\nTo apply for this Senior Engineer role, please submit your up-to-date CV and a member of the team will be in touch
