Senior Engineering Manager (Substations) * Position - Senior Engineering Manager * Location - North West England * Salary - 71k-93k About the role: A flagship client (Tier One contractor) of mine is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with recent substation experience to provide leadership across engineering delivery. You will be responsible for the day‐to‐day management of internal and external engineering resources, ensuring deliverables are completed on me, within budget, and in line with project requirements. Your role will cover both pre‐contract and delivery stages, working closely with customers, consulting engineers, in‐house teams, and operations directors. You will be a key point of contact for engineering issues, supporting tenders, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards, and driving innovation across the business. About the project: A partnership with National Grid on the Electricity Transmission Partnership in the North West region. This programme is focused on delivering substation and transmission works that will enhance the resilience of the electricity network and support the UK’s energy transition.
