Location: Suffolk Sector: Construction / Infrastructure
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to join a new construction project in Suffolk. You will lead environmental performance on site, ensuring best practice standards, legislative compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
Assess environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies with the project team
Create, implement, and maintain the Project Environmental Management Plan
Ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety legislation
Liaise with stakeholders to manage environmental impacts (noise, dust, waste, etc.)
Promote environmental awareness and best practice on site
Support carbon reduction targets and environmental reporting
Implement, audit, and improve the Environmental Management System
Monitor environmental performance and report against project objectives
Manage inspections, monitoring data, and environmental incidents
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in an environmental role within the construction industry
Degree in an environmental or related discipline
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with internal teams and clients
A proactive, detail-focused approach and passion for environmental management
