A leading engineering contractor operating across the UK and Europe is currently recruiting for a Senior Environmental Specialist to provide strategic environmental leadership across high-value power transmission and renewable energy projects.

Based from Inverurie, this is a permanent opportunity for an experienced environmental professional to join a business with a strong culture of performance, collaboration, and sustainability. You will take a key role in managing compliance, supporting permitting, and guiding best practice environmental delivery across multiple live sites. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the lead environmental authority on a portfolio of power and renewable energy construction projects. Ensure compliance with all UK and Scottish environmental legislation, consents, permits, and client-specific standards. Develop, review, and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs) in line with project delivery. Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections, identifying non-conformances and driving corrective actions.
