Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Senior Estimator will play a key role in securing new projects and driving strategic growth within a dynamic, top‑tier organisation.
About you:
Proven experience in construction estimating or related commercial roles on large-scale projects
Strong grasp of construction methods, cost planning, and contract types relevant to UK and Irish markets
Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills with sharp attention to detail
Confident communicator capable of managing stakeholders effectively at all levels
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent (Level 8 or higher)
Experience with estimating software and digital tools is advantageous
What you’ll do:
Lead the creation and submission of detailed, competitive cost estimates for complex projects
Collaborate with internal teams and supply chain partners to gather accurate pricing and define project scope
Analyse drawings and specifications to ensure complete scope capture and identify value engineering opportunities
Manage multiple tender processes simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
Contribute to bid strategy, risk analysis, and post‑tender reviews to optimise success rates
