Your new company My client is a leading specialist engineering and construction group delivering solutions across the built environment. As they continue to grow, they are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team and play a pivotal role in securing major projects across the UK and Scotland. Your new role As a Senior Estimator, you'll be at the heart of our pre-construction function, responsible for developing competitive, accurate, and compelling tenders. You'll work closely with operational, commercial, and design teams to assess project requirements, identify risks and opportunities, and produce high-quality cost estimates that reflect the company's technical excellence and industry-leading standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for multi-disciplinary infrastructure and construction projects Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to determine project scope and requirements Develop pricing strategies and contribute to bid-winning methodologies Engage with supply chain partners to obtain competitive quotations and assess value engineering opportunities Work collaboratively with project, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure robust and accurate submissions Present estimates and tender proposals to senior leadership Support continuous improvement in estimating processes, tools, and data management What you'll need to succeed They are looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and strategic insight.
