Senior Estimator / Estimating Manager– Internal Finishes Subcontractor

Location: Central London

Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 + Package

Our client is an established and growing internal finishes subcontractor delivering high-quality solutions across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments throughout London. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator/Estimating Manager to join their Central London team.

The Role

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for internal finishes packages for projects across the commercial fit out / major projects sectors. You will work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure successful project acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for internal finishes packages Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents Manage the full tender process from enquiry through to submission Liaise with clients, main contractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing Identify value engineering opportunities and risk factors Support bid strategy and contribute to winning new business Mentor junior estimators where required

Requirements

Proven experience as an Senior Estimator within the internal finishes sector Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing Previous experience overseeing other members of the Estimating team. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail Strong communication and negotiation skills Proficient in estimating software and Excel
