Civils Estimator / Senior Estimator


Blueprint is working closely with a client in Liverpool who is looking for an experienced Estimator Join a team delivering safe, high-quality EV infrastructure projects, installing and integrating charging solutions into the energy network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess bid opportunities and lead bid/no-bid decisions
  • Review tender documents for accuracy, risks, and completeness
  • Prepare BOQs and develop cost estimates using first principles (labour, plant, materials)
  • Support tender submissions and deliver client presentations
  • Interpret specifications and drawings to produce accurate quotations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and efficient project delivery

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven estimating experience in civil engineering (e.g. trenching, drainage, ductwork, concrete)
  • Experience delivering capital projects
  • Strong commercial awareness, including NEC, ICE, or JCT contracts
  • Understanding of electrical infrastructure / utilities (National Grid / DNO knowledge desirable)
  • Strong Excel and general IT skills
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage changing workloads and influence improvements
