Senior Estimator – Social Housing Refurbishment

East London / Essex

A well-established and growing refurbishment contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to strengthen its Pre-Construction team due to continued project wins and a strong pipeline of work.

The company specialises in planned maintenance, refurbishment and roofing programmes for local authorities and housing associations across London and the South East.

The Role

  • Leading and preparing competitive tenders for social housing refurbishment projects
  • Pricing planned maintenance and capital works programmes
  • Managing subcontractor enquiries and supplier pricing
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
  • Identifying value engineering opportunities
  • Working closely with the commercial and operational teams

About You

  • Proven experience as an Estimator / Senior Estimator with a main contractor
  • Strong background in social housing refurbishment or planned maintenance
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
  • Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
