Senior Estimator

Job Type: Permanent
Senior Estimator required for a leading main contractor delivering planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes within the social housing sector. This is a key role within an established pre-construction team, pricing works across housing association and local authority frameworks.
The role will involve preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for planned maintenance, refurbishment, and capital works programmes. Projects include internal and external refurbishment, kitchens and bathrooms, voids, cyclical works, and asset investment programmes across occupied housing stock.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and schedules of works
• Pricing planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes
• Managing tender process from enquiry to submission
• Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
• Supporting commercial and operational teams during pre-construction
