Company & Project: A regional Main Contractor with a busy pipeline of work across Norfolk are looking to grow their talented team with a new Senior Estimator. The business is a long standing main contractor with a proven track record in the local area. The business works across the a variety of sectors including Mixed-Use, Residential, Commercial and Healthcare sectors. The successful candidate will be joining the business to work on a tenders and bids from c£1m-£10m in value. Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the cost plans and pricing of single and 2-stage tenders in the main under JCT D&B forms of contract and typically £1m-£10m in value. There are a large number of tenders from a pre-existing frameworks in addition to selective tender. You will attend pre-tender, site and post-tender meetings, producing BOQ's, take offs, full cost plans and target cost reporting. Identify appropriate and qualified subcontractors for each tender, negotiating on price and maintaining strong contractual relationships.
