Overview

An established, global award-winning experiential agency specialising in luxury fashion, beauty, entertainment and cultural brand experiences is seeking a Senior Event Designer to join its London-based team.

The Senior Event Designer will play a key role within the creative team, contributing to both new business pitches and the delivery of live projects. This role focuses on creating innovative, contemporary experiences for a global client base, working across a diverse portfolio of high-profile, design-led brand activations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver creative concepts for experiential projects, from initial brief through to execution
• Contribute to pitch responses, supporting the creation of compelling, visually engaging presentations
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Producers and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project delivery
• Translate strategic briefs into innovative design solutions across a variety of formats including events, installations and brand activations
• Produce high-quality design outputs including 2D layouts, spatial plans and 3D visualisations
• Maintain strong awareness of project timelines, budgets and feasibility in collaboration with production teams
• Present creative ideas confidently to internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, clients
• Mentor and support junior designers, contributing to the overall development of the team

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within an experiential, event design or brand experience agency
• Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to translate ideas into clear, impactful design solutions
• Proven track record contributing to both pitches and live project delivery
• Experience working on projects with budgets ranging from approximately £200K to £1M+
• Demonstrated ability to balance creativity with commercial awareness

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Advanced 2D design, layout and spatial planning capabilities (including floorplans)
• Strong 3D design and visualisation capability, with experience using tools such as SketchUp, Vectorworks, Rhino, Blender or Cinema 4D
• Ability to translate creative concepts into high-quality 3D visual outputs to support pitches and project delivery

Experience & Knowledge

• Experience working within luxury sectors (fashion, beauty) is highly desirable
• Exposure to broader commercial sectors such as technology or entertainment is beneficial
• Strong understanding of contemporary design, art, fashion and cultural trends
• Ability to interpret and respond to briefs within a wider strategic and multi-channel context
