Job Description

Job Title: Senior Meetings & Events Planner

Salary: up to £40,000

Location: London

Contract: 18-month FTC

We’re looking for a confident and commercially focused Senior Meetings & Events Planner to join a busy events team in a prestigious Central London venue. This is a fast-paced role for someone who thrives on converting high-value enquiries, managing key accounts, and delivering standout conferences and events across in-person, hybrid and virtual formats.

The Role

Convert high-revenue enquiries into confirmed business and maximise use of event space Plan and coordinate conferences, meetings and events from enquiry through to delivery Build and grow strong relationships with key accounts to drive repeat bookings Conduct site visits, present the venue, and confidently negotiate to win business Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery Support wider sales activity, reporting, database management and revenue tracking Deputise for senior team members and help support junior planners when needed

About You

Proven experience in conference and events planning within a venue or hospitality setting Commercially minded with strong negotiation and account management skills Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects Confident communicator who builds lasting client relationships Strong understanding of event operations, F&B and venue coordination Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
