The Corporate Operations Group delivers essential support services to ensure the efficient functioning of Macquarie's operations globally. The team provides high-quality administrative, financial, and operational support to enable the success of our business groups. This role is within the EMEA Operations team, supporting senior executives and facilitating effective management of our office environment.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many roles, this position requires 3 days a week in the advertised location.

What role will you play?
You will provide high-level executive support to the CEO/COO - Head of COG, managing their calendar, travel, expenses, and board-related matters. You will oversee the smooth operation of the Corporate Operations Group in EMEA by managing a team of Executive Assistants and ensuring high-quality administrative services. Additionally, you will act as the Office Manager, coordinating office operations, facilities, technology, onboarding, and event management.
What you offer
- At least 5+ years of experience as a senior executive assistant, preferably supporting C-suite executives in an international organization; banking experience is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills and confidence working with senior colleagues across different offices.
- A high level of confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote; experience with Concur and Coupa is desirable.
- The ability to manage conflicting priorities, multitask, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, positive, and calm attitude with a focus on problem-solving and teamwork.
- Experience in managing and developing a team, including resource allocation, performance management, and training.
- Familiarity with office management responsibilities, including facilities coordination, technology, and event organization.
