Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Facilities Manager to lead the strategic and operational delivery of facilities services across a complex, multi-site estate. This is a senior leadership role requiring a proven track record in estates, facilities or commercial services management, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams while driving meaningful service transformation. You will champion a customer-focused culture, reshape processes to enhance operational efficiency and user experience, and lead sustainable estate initiatives that deliver measurable environmental impact.
With strong expertise in compliance, risk management, resilience planning and contractor oversight, you will ensure safe, efficient and fully compliant operations across diverse environments. You will bring experience of managing large teams and third-party partnerships, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and delivering continuous improvement in complex organisations—ideally within Higher Education, research-intensive or similarly multifaceted settings
