About The Role Based in Ipswich with regular travel to sites in London, this role oversees all financial and commercial aspects of a major client account. The Senior Finance Business Partner leads a team of Finance Coordinators, manages client relationships, negotiates contract variations, drives financial oversight, and ensures profitability and customer engagement. Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Manage and report on the underlying financial records for the contract, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies. Lead the month‑end reporting process, preparing audit files and liaising with external auditors and internal stakeholders. Prepare client reports, building constructive, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders at all contract locations. Analyse contractual and financial data using Power BI, Dynamics and other software to drive insights. Review commercial pricing, reconciling against actual performance to maximise priced margins. Develop the Finance Coordinators team, promoting training, staff development and liaising with training providers for professional qualification training. Drive continuous finance and operational process improvement throughout finance procedures, adopting best practice. Reconcile balance sheet accounts, identifying and mitigating risks on a timely basis. Ensure robustness and completeness of financial records for quarterly Group declarations. Act as a key contact for completion and reporting to Central Finance Functions. Provide collaborative support to shared services team leaders.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. Experience managing a finance team in a medium‑large organisation. Experience working on large contracts within a Facilities Management company. Proven track record of reviewing financial accounts, postings and reports. Year‑end audit experience, including managing strict reporting timetables and liaising with external auditors. Knowledge of Dynamics software and fundamental accounting principles, including IFRS.
