Senior Finance Manager (Systems and Compliance) – Part‑time Prospectus is supporting a global sight‑saving charity to recruit for a Senior Finance Manager (Systems and Compliance) on a permanent part‑time basis (24 hours per week, across 3 or 4 days). The role offers hybrid working, including remote work and attendance at their London office one or two days per week. Responsibilities
Manage general finance processes, internal controls and systems for a charity, focusing on efficient fund accounting. Lead year‑end processes and annual audit preparations, producing year‑end schedules, accounts and liaising with auditors. Improve financial controls and processes, using technology and automation to increase efficiency. Support finance staff and provide team management experience where required. Assess the use of technology, automation and new finance systems to drive process efficiencies.
Qualifications
Experienced finance generalist with a strong background in charity accounting, particularly funds. Excellent problem‑solving skills and initiative. Demonstrated experience improving financial controls and processes through technology or automation. Team management experience, having supported finance staff previously. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, passionate and supportive environment.
