Senior Financial Reporting Accountant | £60–75k DOE | Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days from home) A high-growth FTSE-250 listed business is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join its expanding Financial Reporting & Control team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong qualified accountant looking to gain exposure to group reporting, technical accounting, and business-wide projects in a fast-growing environment. The Role As a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting while driving process and control improvements across the finance function. Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical accounting areas including revenue recognition (IFRS 15), share-based payments, consolidation, FX, and intercompany Prepare and review management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis Act as a key contact during half-year and year-end audits Own complex balance sheet reconciliations and key financial controls Support technical accounting papers and reporting for senior management Work cross-functionally to ensure effective processes and controls Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting
About You
Candidate from practice or practice background with industry experience Strong technical accounting and analytical skills Confident communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders Advanced Excel skills and experience with large datasetsERP experience (e.g., NetSuite) is beneficial
