Senior Fire Engineer – Remote/Hybrid, UK\n Salary: £60,000 – £80,000\n Location: Remote \n\nAbout the Role:\n An established and growing fire safety consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to support a diverse range of residential and commercial projects across the UK.\n \nThe company provides a full suite of fire safety services, including fire strategies, fire engineering consultancy, FRAEW and EWS1 assessments, and fire risk assessments. Having started with a focus on external wall work, they have since expanded to deliver a complete fire engineering offering.\n \nThey operate as a small, agile consultancy, sitting between large corporate firms and smaller niche practices. This allows them to deliver technically robust work quickly, while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients.\n\nThis position will suit a qualified fire engineer with several years of experience in a commercial consultancy environment who is comfortable leading on projects and supporting junior members of the team.\n \nResponsibilities:\n The Senior Fire Engineer will:\n\nLead and deliver fire strategies, fire engineering designs, and FRAEW/EWS1 assessments\nManage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining technical and regulatory standards\nProvide mentoring and support to junior and graduate engineers\nLiaise directly with clients, design teams, and approving authorities to deliver compliant solutions\nWork largely remotely, with occasional site and client meetings as required\nTake ownership of project delivery to help free up the Technical Director for strategic oversight\n\nOn Offer:\n\nSalary: £60,000–£80,000 depending on experience\nFlexible working structure\n28 days annual leave plus Christmas shutdown\nOption for additional unpaid leave if needed\nRemote-first working model with close collaboration via Teams\nGenuine autonomy and responsibility on projects\nOpportunity to shape processes and influence company direction as part of a small, growing team\n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\nDegree in Fire Engineering or a closely related discipline\nChartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status ( but not essential)\nProven experience in a commercial fire engineering consultancy environment\nStrong understanding of fire strategy development, codes, and standards\nAbility to lead projects and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders\nUK-based (client is unable to offer sponsorship)\n\nPlease contact:\nAlex Bartley\nRGB Network\nOffice: (phone number removed)\nEmail: abartley @ rgb .co .uk
