A growing and innovative fire safety consultancy is seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to join their expanding team.

The Senior Fire Engineer will play a key role in both technical delivery and team leadership.
The Senior Fire Engineer's Role
The Senior Fire Engineer will take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery is aligned with client expectations, programme requirements, and budget constraints. The Senior Fire Engineer will also support and mentor junior engineers while contributing to the wider success of the team.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading fire engineering projects and providing technical oversight Preparing fire strategies, reports, and supporting documentation Managing client relationships and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams Supporting financial performance, including fee proposals and resource planning Mentoring and supervising junior engineers and supporting their development Contributing to recruitment and team growth initiatives Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and best practice Supporting expert witness work where required Engaging with the wider fire engineering community through industry events and technical contributions Promoting high standards of quality, integrity, and professionalismThe Senior Fire Engineer
The ideal Senior Fire Engineer will be a technically strong and commercially aware professional with leadership capabilities. The Senior Fire Engineer will be proactive, organised, and passionate about delivering high-quality fire engineering solutions.
Requirements include:
A degree in Fire Engineering or a related engineering discipline A minimum of 4 years' experience in fire engineering Associate membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (AIFireE) Strong communication and client-facing consultancy skills Excellent organisational and time management abilities Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam or similar tools is advantageous A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detailIn Return?
