A leading fire safety engineering consultancy is seeking a Fire Engineer to join their growing and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Fire Engineer who wants to work on diverse, challenging projects and contribute to the development of innovative fire strategies across residential, commercial, heritage, healthcare, and sports sectors.\n\nThe consultancy is known for helping architects and developers achieve their design ambitions while maintaining safety, compliance, and cost efficiency. As a Fire Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping fire strategy designs that balance performance, practicality, and creativity.

Supported by Chartered Fire Engineers and an experienced technical team, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of projects while developing your skills and progressing towards chartership.\n\nThis role would suit a Fire Engineer looking to join a collaborative environment where ideas are valued, knowledge is shared, and professional growth is encouraged.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou'll work across all aspects of fire engineering, from research and technical report writing through to site inspections, computational modelling, and developing detailed fire strategies. Once you have a solid grounding in the fundamentals, you'll have the opportunity to specialise in areas that match your professional interests.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCollaborate with colleagues at all levels across multiple offices.\nManage your own projects, including timelines, budgets, and client communication.\nDevelop performance-based and code-compliant fire strategy designs.\nProduce clear and accurate technical reports and design documentation.\nConduct site inspections and attend client meetings where required.\nKeep up to date with developments in fire engineering and legislation.\nSupport graduate and junior engineers with their professional development.\nContribute to research projects and technical publications over time.About You\n\nBSc, BEng or higher in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.\nStrong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nConfident using Microsoft Word and Excel.\nCollaborative approach and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.Desirable:\n\nMinimum 2 years' experience in fire engineering.\nAssociate Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (AIFireE).\nExperience using Excel Bluebeam or similar software.In Return?\n\nSalary: £50,000 - £60,000\n\nPerformance-based bonus scheme.\nFlexible and hybrid working arrangements.\n9-day fortnight, every other Friday off\nChristmas closure period.\nEnhanced pension, maternity and paternity pay.\nLife assurance and Employee Assistance Programme.\nSupport for professional memberships and chartership.\nRegular company events and socials.If you are a Fire Engineer of any level, considering your opportunities, please contact Megan Cole at Brandon James, \n\nReference: 20745MC
