Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Fire Risk Assessor to provide high-level, specialist fire safety expertise. The post holder will lead on complex fire risk assessments across a diverse property portfolio, ensuring full compliance with statutory fire safety duties and delivering immediate, high-quality outputs.
This role requires a seasoned fire safety professional who can quickly integrate into the organisation, work autonomously, and deliver expert assessments that support the organisation's legal obligations and resident safety.
Key Responsibilities Fire Risk Assessment Delivery
Lead on the completion of complex and high-priority Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) across housing, corporate buildings, community assets, and high-risk premises.
Undertake detailed site inspections, evaluate fire safety measures, and identify deficiencies requiring remedial action.
Produce clear, compliant FRA reports aligned with PAS 79 methodology and local authority standards.
Prioritise risks and provide practical, proportionate recommendations to ensure life safety and regulatory compliance.
Technical Fire Safety Expertise
Provide authoritative advice on fire safety legislation, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety Act 2021, and Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022.
