Your New Role
As a Senior Fire Risk Assessor, you will take a lead role in delivering complex fire risk assessments, supporting junior assessors, and providing high‑level fire safety advice across a diverse project portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the delivery of Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments across a wide range of properties.
Producing detailed, accurate FRA reports and offering robust, risk‑based recommendations.
Providing expert technical fire safety advice to clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
Reviewing assessments completed by junior assessors and offering constructive technical guidance.
Supporting audits, inspections, and complex fire safety surveys.
Leading on fire safety elements within multidisciplinary project teams.
Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation, standards, and sector best practice.
Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development opportunities.
Supporting continuous improvement in fire safety processes, quality, and internal standards.This senior‑level role offers the opportunity to work autonomously, influence fire safety strategy, and contribute to the growth of ahighly regarded consultancy team.

What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful, you will bring:

Extensive experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments across a broad range of building types.
Strong technical understanding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Approved Documents, PAS 79 and sector guidance.
A recognised fire safety qualification such as NEBOSH National Fire Certificate, IFE, or equivalent.
Tier 2 or Tier 3 accreditation (IFSM or equivalent), or clear evidence of working towards higher competency status.
A recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification (e.g., FPA, IFE, FireQual).
Proven ability to mentor or support junior fire risk assessors.
Strong analytical, report‑writing and communication skills.
Consultancy experience or the ability to interpret fire safety requirements in commercial settings.
Professional, confident client‑facing skills.Experience leading complex assessments, working on higher‑risk buildings, oradvising multidisciplinary teams will be highly advantageous.
