About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Fire Safety Surveyor to join Croydon's Private Sector Housing Team. The primary objective of this role is to improve standards within Croydon's private rented sector, including housing association‑owned and privately‑owned homes.

We are looking for a professional with a strong breadth of experience, particularly in enforcement work using relevant legislation. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the team, managing staff and leading inspections of tall residential buildings that may present a wide range of structural and external cladding fire safety issues.
