As such they have an excellent new opportunity for a Senior FP&A Analyst, 12mth FTC. This team provides critical business performance insight and financial planning support to the business Exec, directly influencing the company’s strategic decision making. You’ll be expected to partner closely with key senior stakeholders across the business to support and drive business performance.The team is currently undergoing an exciting period of transformation and change as they modernise their processes and enhance their FP&A capabilities. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of a journey that challenges the status quo, this is for you.Key accountabilities:Preparing monthly Business Performance Pack and associated analysisContribute to preparation of annual budgets, quarterly re-forecasts and long-term plansConsolidating the performance of all product lines and articulating the financial narrative to senior management by highlighting key performance drivers and emerging trendsLiaising with Commercial Finance Directors across all product lines to understand and communicate performanceConduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and scenario modelling, to support operational and strategic decision-making.Analysing exceptional spend and ensuring correct allocation to business unit/projectAd hoc analysis to understand trading performance and identify cost savingsWorking collaboratively with the wider FP&A teamActively contribute to the FP&A process/system improvement programmeRequired experience:The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA etc.) with a strong academic record and previous FP&A experience in a similar role ideally within a Financial Services companyAbility to influence others and demonstrate confidence when dealing with senior stakeholdersAdvanced Excel and decent financial modelling skills.Experience with ERP/FP&A systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, Adaptive).Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and data visualisation.If this isn’t for you but you know someone who’d be interested, then why not confidentially recommend them by clicking here http://peartalent.co.uk/spread-the-word/.
