• Expert Level Java Development:You will applyyourin-depthknowledge of the Java programming language(21+)to implement world class trading and pricing systems.

• Strong Java development experiencewithin financial systems, ideally in pricing or risk-related applications.

• Not just a coder, but someonewho also focuses on applying best practices, designpatternsand principles to develop scalable,maintain ableand high-quality code.

• Someone who enjoysmaths/logic problems and challenges

• Familiarity with electronic trading order routing, broker connectivity and FIX would bevery beneficial

• Knows or willingness to learnscripting languages to aid rapid development

• Experience acrossone or moreasset classes such as Equities, FX, Commodities, and Derivatives.

• Familiarity with Front Office trading systems and a deep understanding of market-making environments.

• Ability to quickly respond to critical issues in a fast-paced trading environment.

• Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders.

• Minimum 2:1 degree in a numerate subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics,Physicsor equivalent.
