Here at Venator, we are working with a high-level tech startup based in London - a company at the forefront of AI Video Intelligence, currently aiming for Series B funding. Applicants are generally expected to have a high level of education, such as a Computer Science Degree from a top-tier/ranked university. The role: We are seeking a developer to help scale our system to meet increasing user demand. Our technology stack spans front-end, back-end, and edge computing, and you will be responsible for significant parts of our front-end and back-end development. Responsibilities include: Designing and implementing new backend APIs and collaborating with the edge team. Developing user-facing front-end interfaces in partnership with the product team. Ensuring system scalability and full observability. Delivering high-quality features, thorough testing, and debugging. This position requires working in-office 5 days a week. Requirements and experience: At least 3 years of industry experience with scalable systems. Proficiency with main backend technologies, especially Python or Go. Experience with databases such as Postgres and Redis. Knowledge of front-end technologies including Typescript, React, react-query, build tools, and React component libraries. Additional experience with infrastructure-as-code solutions like Pulumi over AWS is desirable. Experience with platform engineering (C++) or video streaming is a bonus but not mandatory. Strong motivation and ability to work diligently.
