Design and maintain APIs that integrate smoothly with Spotify’s web clients, including desktop and TV platforms
Evolve and maintain JavaScript SDKs to support new capabilities within the user behavior infrastructure
Identify friction points in adoption and integration, and continuously improve the developer experience
Contribute to backend systems and services that support data collection and processing at scale
Take part in an on-call rotation to support the reliability and performance of the platform
Who You Are
You are experienced working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure in a fullstack environment
You have strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, including modern development, testing, and debugging practices
You are comfortable building applications using React and working with backend systems in Java
You care deeply about developer experience and enjoy building intuitive, reliable APIs and tools
You have a quality mindset and think holistically about software development, from coding to deployment and monitoring
You have experience building user-friendly web applications and understand what makes a great user experience
You are curious and collaborative, and enjoy working with cross-functional partners to solve complex problems
You have exposure to areas such as GCP, Kubernetes, gRPC, protobuf, or large-scale data pipelines
You are comfortable leveraging AI tools (such as Claude Code) to enhance development workflows
