Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Birmingham\n\nWe are working with a small to medium-sized multidisciplinary consultancy in Birmingham that is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. The company operates across civil, structural, geotechnical and planning disciplines, delivering work on a range of commercial and residential developments.\n\nThis role would suit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer who is comfortable managing their own projects and contributing to a collaborative team.\n\nThe role\n\nManaging and overseeing ground investigations\nProducing factual and interpretative geotechnical reports\nCarrying out foundation design, retaining wall design and slope stability assessments\nWorking alongside civil and structural engineers on shared projects\nLiaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders\nSupporting junior members of the teamRequirements\n\nExperience in a Senior Geotechnical Engineer position or similar\nGood understanding of UK ground conditions and investigation techniques\nExperience in geotechnical design and report writing\nAble to manage workload and communicate effectively\nRelevant degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or Civil EngineeringWhat's offered\n\nCompetitive salary\nOpportunities for progression as the team grows\nExposure to a range of project types\nSupportive working environmentThis is a straightforward role within a growing consultancy, offering steady project work and the chance to take on responsibility within a smaller team
