The successful Senior Geotechnical Engineer will work on a wide variety of projects, carrying out both site and office-based work. You will be joining a large ground investigation consultancy specialising in rail and major infrastructure projects across the UK.

Role Responsibilities
The role of the Senior Geotechnical Engineer will involve:
- Ground investigation design
- Slope stability assessments
- Phase 1 & Phase 2 report writing
- Preparing geotechnical risk assessments
- Core logging, soil sampling and in-situ testing
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
- Collaborating with senior and principal engineers on large-scale infrastructure schemes
This position offers excellent exposure to complex rail and infrastructure projects, with genuine opportunities for career development within an established consultancy.
Requirements
To be considered for the Senior Geotechnical Engineer role, you should: xbpsjku
- Hold a degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Have strong experience in geotechnical report writing
- Demonstrate leadership or mentoring experience
- Live within a commutable distance of the Leicester office
- Hold a full UK driving licence
