Senior Governance Manager - Financial Crime Execution Join to apply for the Senior Governance Manager - Financial Crime Execution role at Barclays. Join us as a Senior Governance Manager for the UKCB Financial Crime Execution Team. In this fast‑paced role you will ensure the appropriate identification, evaluation and reporting of financial crime matters through formal governance, oversee financial crime governance meetings, identify and investigate process or control concerns, and prepare briefing materials for the Senior Leadership team. Key Responsibilities
Implement and support risk management policies, standards, procedures, and controls across the bank. Assess and promote risk management awareness and risk controls culture. Review, challenge and monitor the effectiveness of existing risk management practices and identify areas for improvement. Identify new and emerging risks, assess likelihood and impact, and recommend mitigation strategies. Manage and operate associated committees, forums and meetings. Maintain risk inventories and governance documentation.

Required Skills and Experience
Strong risk and control background. Ability to identify and evaluate risk and control performance. Proven multi‑priority and ambiguity management aligned with clarity. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills
Prior financial crime experience.
Location This role is located in London or Birmingham. Purpose of the Role To provide support to the Chief Risk Officer(s) in implementing and maintaining the bank's risk management framework across various business units and functions.
