Senior Product Manager - GTM - Payments Fraud

• £90-110k + bonus * benefits

My client is a fast paced fin-tech who is keen to hire an experienced Senior Product Manager to take the lead GTM role on their range of payment fraud solutions. This is an absolutely key role in the company as they develop into a much more product focused business. Reporting into the Head of Global Product, you will oversee a small team of Product Owners (who are busy working with scrum teams to translate requirements into user stories) but largely, you will focus on looking at new and existing customers product requirements in this market facing, commercially focused role. Finding out what customers pain points are, what they need & how we can address these requirements is what drives you, and working closely with the commercial team on developing a product set which they can sell is key to the success of this role.

You will be adept at making difficult decisions, focusing on customer needs and creating a roadmap which aligns with these requirements.

What you’ll be doing:

• Set the vision & roadmap – This is a highly commercially focused role, owning the product strategy for all payment fraud capabilities across existing & new customers.
• Launch new products - Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will be an experienced PM who has previously launched a new product
• Drive product development – Work with technical and design teams to turn ideas into high-impact products that are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Data & insights – Use data to spot trends, improve performance, and report on key metrics.
• Collaborate & influence – Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and regulators to keep our products ahead of the curve.

What you’ll bring:

• 5 years+ as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in fintech, payments, or fraud prevention (but will consider other backgrounds)
• Strong understanding of product management and development, owning a roadmap, developing a strategy, launching new products and operating in a commercially focused, market facing product management role within financial services.
• Excellent communicator, collaborator, presenter, strategic thinker, and confident working with data to make decisions.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
