Join us as our new Senior Health Care Assistant at our Willowbeck care home in Sheffield.\n\nAbout Exemplar Health Care\n\nWillowbeck is part of Exemplar Health Care, a leading provider of nursing care for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.\n\nWillowbeck supports 30 adults living with complex mental health needs and neuro-disabilities including Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s disease across three units.\n\nAs well as stable and secure employment opportunities, we offer great benefits and perks, and plenty of opportunities to learn, develop and progress.\n\nAbout the role\n\nOur Senior Health Care Assistants work closely with the Nurse in Charge and lead our Care Teams in supporting every aspect of our residents’ day-to-day lives.\n\nNo two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:\n\n * supporting people with their personal care\n\n * assisting people at meal times\n\n * understanding individual health and wellbeing needs\n\n * encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home\n\n * promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect\n\n * leading, motivating and supporting a team of care colleagues\n\n * ensuring that care documentation is completed to a high standard.\n\nWe have higher-than-average staffing levels when compared to other care providers.
