The Company:
Our client is a well-established and fast-growing fit-out contractor based in Manchester, delivering high-quality commercial, retail, and office interior projects across the UK. Known for their collaborative culture and commitment to excellence, they are now looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Senior Health & Safety Advisor.

The Role:
As Senior Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in driving health, safety, and compliance standards across multiple fit-out projects. Working closely with project teams and senior management, you will ensure best practices are embedded throughout the business and that all works are delivered safely and in line with current legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and promote a positive health & safety culture across all projects
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Provide expert advice and guidance to site teams and management
Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation and company policies
Investigate incidents, produce reports, and implement corrective actions
Deliver training and toolbox talks where required
Support the development and continuous improvement of H&S proceduresRequirements:

Proven experience in a senior H&S role within construction or fit-out
Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) preferred
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work across multiple sites and manage priorities effectively
