OverviewSenior Health & Safety Consultant role at CBRE UK. To provide proactive CDM / H&S advice to a variety of clients both internal and external.ResponsibilitiesUndertake the role of CDM Principal Designer as defined in the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015Full working and practical knowledge of UK Construction Safety LegislationProvide competent H&S advice on all aspects of construction and engineering projects.Undertake Site InspectionsAssist in training other CBRE staff with regard to H&S legislationPerson Specification / Requirements3 years construction H&S experience, or in activities related to constructionNebosh Construction Certificate, as a minimumAble to demonstrate that they are Tech IOSH (or above) and IMaPS (or working to) statusAble to demonstrate understanding of the CDM processExperience of Fire regulation and Asbestos Management preferred.Maintains a positive attitude towards routine tasksAccurate and exceptional attention to detailPro-active and enjoys working autonomously and as part of a wider teamConfident and assertive where requiredUnderstands and appreciates the importance of using discretionTeam player who deals effectively with colleagues and clientsGood IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook).A good standard of education - A levels or equivalent plus relevant professional qualificationsGood communication skills, both verbally and in writingAt least 5 years' experience in an office environment, preferably in a corporate environmentWorking at CBREWhen you join CBRE you will have the support and resources of a global firm where an entrepreneurial mind-set is encouraged.
