Senior Highways Design Engineer

Randstad are recruiting for a Senior Highways Design Engineer to join a reupatable highways contractor based in Central London (Zone 1) where the delivery and design team are co-located. The role will be varied and all-encompassing and will include a mix of hands-on highways design work and technical support to other members of the in-house design team. Candidates must have good, detailed design experience with a solid background on highway design projects.
This is a 6 Month+ contract paid PAYE UMBRELLA.
Role Summary:
The delivery of multidisciplinary projects, balancing demands and priorities, whilst reviewing highways infrastructure design, from project proposition through to construction. Preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, specification, and schedules. Providing construction support to construction team. Supervising and overseeing the work of engineers and graduatesKey Requirements:
Relevant 1st Degree or HND/HNC (preferably in engineering) or equivalent qualifications Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with a relevant professional institution such as ICE or CIHT (or equivalent) or suitable relevant experience - HIGHLY DESIRABLE In-depth understanding of highways and traffic engineering techniques and principles and a proven track record in highways design and/or delivery Strong CAD/Civil 3D skills Strong Pavement design experience Good drainage design experience Use of Keylines & Key signs software's ...
