Winberry are partnering with a growing manufacturing business in Ammanford that’s building momentum and investing in its people. They’re now looking for a Senior HR Advisor to provide hands-on, pragmatic HR support and help shape a strong, progressive people culture.

This is a true HR generalist role where you will be visible, influential, and close to the operation.

The role

You’ll work closely with managers across the business, providing practical, commercially focused HR advice and supporting the full employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

Advising managers on day-to-day people matters, including performance, absence, and employee relations

Managing complex ER cases end-to-end, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes

Coaching and supporting managers to build confidence in handling people issues

Developing and implementing HR policies, processes, and best practice that enhance the employee experience

Supporting recruitment, onboarding, induction, and wider lifecycle activities

Using HR data to spot trends, identify risks, and drive improvement

Ensuring HR operations run smoothly, accurately, and compliantly

Contributing to HR projects that support organisational change and workforce capability

Continuous improvement

You’ll be expected to:

About you

You’ll be an experienced HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, trusted, and involved, with:

Strong all-round HR generalist experience

Background in manufacturing or a similar operational/industrial environment

Confidence handling complex ER and advising managers at pace

A pragmatic, people-focused, commercially aware approach

CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience
