My client, a leading London Market insurance carrier, is seeking a commercially astute Strategic HR Business Partner to join their UK HR team. This is a high-impact role supporting revenue-generating business units, with a strong focus on strategic workforce planning, talent development, and organisational transformation. This role partners closely with senior leadership and ExCo members, acting as a trusted advisor to drive business performance through people. The successful candidate will lead strategic HR initiatives aligned with business outcomes, enabling growth through the attraction, development, engagement, and retention of top talent.
Financial Services experience is essential for this hire; with proven experience driving HR strategies, change management and organisational design / development.
Key Responsibilities Partner with senior leaders in revenue-generating functions to co-create and deliver strategic workforce plans. Drive talent and succession planning, ensuring the business attracts and retains industry-leading talent. Champion employee engagement and inclusion across client groups, supporting measurable improvements. Lead change initiatives and support transformation programmes within the business. Use HR analytics to identify risks and implement proactive solutions. Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence to embed the People Strategy across Reward, Talent, Performance, and Culture.
Ideal Profile Proven experience in strategic HR partnering within revenue-generating or client-facing business units, specifically across Insurance. Strong commercial acumen and ability to link HR initiatives to business performance. Skilled in workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and change leadership. Comfortable operating in a matrix environment and influencing at senior levels. Passionate about inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement.
