Do you have strong experience in commercial contract law?If so then we may have the role for you. We are excited to invite applications for the role of Senior In-House Commercial Lawyer at the ICAEW. In this key position, you will report directly to the Head of Central Operations and take charge of overseeing our commercial contracts legal team.Role ProfileSenior In-House Commercial Lawyer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the commercial contracts legal team. This role will ensure that all contracts and agreements are reviewed, drafted, and executed efficiently and accurately. Additionally, the Senior In-House Commercial Lawyer will manage the contract review process, ensuring high service levels, and work closely with contract owners and other stakeholders across the business to meet both legal and operational objectives.Responsibilities include:* Oversee a small team of contracts lawyers, providing guidance and support in their daily work.* Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and agreements, including NDAs, supply agreements, service agreements, partnership agreements, and SAAS contracts.* Ensure contracts are legally sound, mitigate risk, and align with the company's strategic and operational goals.* Advise on contract-related legal issues and interpret terms for internal teams.Candidate ProfileRequirements include:* LLB or equivalent law degree.
