Cititec is partnering with a leading global commodities trading firm to hire a Senior Integration Engineer. You'll design and build scalable, high-performance integration solutions that connect complex trading systems and data flows critical to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

\n Develop and maintain integration architectures using Java (Spring Boot) and middleware \n

Build and manage RESTful APIs and data pipelines for real-time trading information \n

Optimize messaging systems like Kafka for low latency and high throughput \n

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, resilient integration solutions \n

Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues swiftly \n

Drive continuous improvements in integration patterns and practices \n

What You Need:

\n

\n 8+ years in Java backend development and enterprise integration \n

Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven design, and messaging platforms \n

Experience with Kafka and API development (REST/GraphQL) \n

Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases \n

Good understanding of CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud- integration (AWS, Azure, GCP) \n

Excellent communication and collaboration skills \n

Commodity trading or financial services experience a plus \n
