Job Description

Job Title: Senior Interior Designer

Location: W2, London, United Kingdom

Salary: £65,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

A respected London design studio is looking for a Senior Interior Designer to take a leading role across a portfolio of high-end residential projects, with additional exposure to private members’ clubs and hospitality environments.

This role is suited to a designer who is deeply experienced in delivering refined, detail-driven residential schemes, and who can bring that same level of sensitivity and sophistication to more commercially focused spaces when required. Working closely with the Creative Director, you will help shape and realise design concepts from initial vision through to final delivery, ensuring a consistent level of quality throughout.

You will take ownership of projects across all stages, balancing strong conceptual thinking with technical expertise. The position calls for someone confident managing both the creative and practical aspects of design — from spatial planning and drawing packages to site coordination and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-end residential projects from concept through to completion, maintaining design integrity throughout
  • Support the delivery of private members’ clubs and hospitality projects where required
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to interpret and execute design intent
  • Produce, review, and oversee detailed technical drawing packages
  • Manage internal teams and coordinate external consultants, suppliers, and contractors
  • Attend site visits and oversee installation to ensure quality and consistency

Experience & Skills

You will bring a strong background in luxury residential design, with a portfolio that demonstrates a refined, detail-oriented approach.

Experience working on private members’ clubs or hospitality projects is highly advantageous, particularly where it complements a residential-led design sensibility.

You should be confident leading projects across all RIBA stages, with excellent technical ability and a strong understanding of materials, detailing, and spatial planning. Experience mentoring junior designers and managing project timelines is important, as is the ability to communicate clearly with clients and collaborators.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is required
