Senior Learning Support Assistant Hourly Salary : £18 - £20 per hour Location: Twickenham Job Type : Full-time We are seeking a Senior Learning Support Assistant with significant SEN experience to join our team at a college in Twickenham. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with responsibilities related to special educational needs (SEN). Day-to-day of the role: Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential. Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of each student. Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to education and development. Monitor and report on the progress of students, identifying any additional needs and adjusting support as necessary. Participate in training and development sessions to stay updated with the latest educational practices and standards for SEN. Required Skills & Qualifications: Extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant, with specific responsibilities in SEN. Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
