Commercial Legal Counsel (12-Month Contract)

High-Growth Technology Business


We’re partnering with a rapidly scaling technology company that has achieved phenomenal growth over the past five years, delivering consistent profitability and market expansion. As they continue to scale globally, they are seeking an Commercial Legal Counsel to join the team on a 12-month contract.


The Role:


Working closely with the General Counsel, wider legal team, and particularly the Sales function, you will act as a key commercial partner to the business. You’ll help keep deals moving at pace while protecting the company’s interests in a high-growth SaaS environment.


  • Partnering with Sales to triage and prioritise contracts across active pipelines
  • Turning around MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and SOWs efficiently and commercially
  • Negotiating NDAs, SaaS agreements, and complex amendments with customers
  • Balancing speed and risk in a hyper-growth setting
  • Advising on GDPR, CCPA, and wider global privacy frameworks
  • Addressing customer queries around data ownership, AI model training rights, and regulatory developments


About You:

  • England & Wales Qualified Lawyer
  • 4+ years PQE
  • Strong commercial contracts experience within technology or SaaS is essential
  • Confident working closely with Sales and revenue teams
  • Pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to negotiation
  • Comfortable operating at pace and managing competing priorities
